An exclusive Emirati community in Khalifa City was developed by Aldar to combine the best of tradition with the ultimate contemporary amenities.
Zaman created an identity that reflects the bespoke nature of the project where the story of collaborative design between owners and developers was weaved in the presentation. A unique launch program followed showcasing the neighborhood and facilities. All the land plots were sold during the first week of the launch.
For the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award, Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Women Establishment, hosted an event at the Burj Khalifa at which art patrons mingled with artists from the UAE.
To commemorate this occasion, Zaman was commissioned to create a limited edition book that captured the winning art and artists from all 10 years. The theme of the book was ‘Glitch’, the art form that reflects disruption or manipulation of digital communication data to create seemingly incidentally corrupted images.
The graphic motif of the book’s cover is a Zaman created glitch embedded in a silver foil finish. To reflect the importance of the publication, and the occasion, the team used a generously oversized format and a refined selection of papers.
To allow the art to stand out but with just a little ownership, Zaman chose a neutral palette derived directly from the Young Artist Award identity – black and white with a small accent in orange and some fluorescent highlights.
The disruptive theme was emphasized by having inserts and pages of different sizes and positions along with a flexible graphic and title layout. The unique binding approach is open and then covered with black cloth.
The book was conceived as a gift of art, with a unique treatment to express the value the organization attaches to the artists. We believe our approach enabled all involved to truly appreciate this remarkable collection of art and talent.

The Chairman of Meraas asked Zaman to create a brand identity for his office and then plan and brand the experience of interacting with the office and the collaterals for each step of the journey.
The work included designing the stationery suite, creating the elements of office hospitality, the uniforms of the service team. We also directed a major photography shoot across the Meraas destinations that allowed us to curate and create a unique book both as a gift and a reflection of the aesthetic qualities Meraas hold true.
The precision and attention to detail are the discerning aspects of this work and clearly reflect the Meraas brand philosophy.
Government entities are innovative places these days. An initiative developed by the team at Sharjah’s Department of Statistics and Community Development (DSCD) allows the sharing of data and information on a platform called ‘Tabadol’.
As it approached its imminent full launch, Zaman were called into action to generate a meaningful brand identity and logo mark. The identity had to tell the story of technology, data and sharing.
The solution took its direction from linear data charts, building blocks cum pixels (of information) and a bright, harmonious blue/green colour palette and font hierarchy that says user friendly, knowledge and reliable.
It also looks creative and cool breaking with the traditional way of seeing data and statistics and reflecting more the exciting opportunities information can provide when shared in a clear and accessible way.
Good luck to the Tabadol team, we think you’re on to a winner.
Sheraa is a successful support ecosystem based in Sharjah for start-up businesses. To celebrate its first 3 years of activity, the entrepreneurs that have come through the system, the partners that have supported it and the process an Impact Report was published. The Report was launched at an event at the Sheraa Hub at Sharjah University.
To communicate the content of the Report to both the event invitees and the general audience Zaman was asked to create 2 videos each with 2 durations. One is a visualisation of the key report content delivered in corporate brand style with the youthful vigour of the entrepreneurs. The other is a presentation of 5 of the most successful start-ups and their entrepreneurs sharing details of their work and awards. Both were shown at the event, shared on social media and on the Sheraa website. Short versions were use as PPC content to promote Sheraa and engage future entrepreneurs.
Zaman also created the social media calendar for the 3 week promotional period and designed all the posts for the countdown, launch and distribution phases.
Antara is a significant addition to the residential living options for expatriates moving to Riyadh. With a brand promise of ‘Resort Style Living’ Zaman created a brand identity and comprehensive set of sales and marketing collaterals that set the project apart, just as the developers and architects intended.
Working closely with the sales team, Zaman developed a journey of engagement, recognizing each step in the awareness and decision-making process and plotting out the most effective experience and necessary support collaterals and messages to convert.
Zaman created a suite of brochures and floor plans, segmented by property type and features and rich in information graphics. These allowed the team to share the most relevant details according to the prospect’s profile. Similarly, the app-based sales presentation provided a fully interactive platform for guiding the prospect through the Antara experience that best suited their needs and desires.
The website is rich with the detailed renderings and video fly-throughs that Zaman created as well as the carefully curated lifestyle imagery that clearly reflect the living environment and benefits.
Zaman also built the communications strategy and messaging pillars for advertising and social media that are guiding the dialogue through the early phases of the project launch and beyond.
The result of our 14 months together is a highly integral brand experience that clearly distinguishes Antara in the marketplace and attracts the residents that will appreciate and build the community to bring the brand‘s elegant story to life.
The Fresh Market is Dubai’s newest small but perfectly formed freezone. Adjacent to Dubai Municipality’s Al Awir Fruit & Vegetable area, it offers first class office space, cold store and warehouse facilities as a new and very fresh alternative for ambitious businesses.
The brand Zaman developed is led by a strategy based on the ‘Principle of Freshness’ – a commitment to fresh thinking, a fresh environment, and a fresh attitude to all aspects of its operation and relationships.
Zaman created the identity to appeal to young business owners looking for a fresh start. This positive message is represented by a brand identity of bright, bold and energetic colours, graphics, imagery and fonts. A brand that’s difficult to miss or forget.
Zaman created and launched the brand, creating the main identity and logo mark, the environmental design, designing and building the website as well as all the print and digital sales collaterals. We also created the messaging platforms and the launch campaign across outdoor, print media, ambient, social media and digital channels. A concept for an activation was devised to build a sustainable community of like-minded people and businesses.
