Picasso & Miro together, A Unique Exhibition

A true demonstration of passion. Two of the 20th century’s most celebrated artists, Picasso and Miro helped develop a new expression in color and form.

The artists continue to fascinate, and they are currently celebrated with the first show of its kind at Burj Khalifa. Color is key to the exhibition, with the vibrant hues of the paintings echoed in bright blasts of color that open each section.

The energy, which lit the creativity of Picasso and Miro, inspired the design of the venue. Hosted at the most iconic building in Dubai with dramatic views to the fountain, the exhibition exhudes the passion that both artists had for life and poetry. The sequence of the exhibition was crafted based on the curator’s storytelling approach. Beginning with the blue age for Picasso and ending with the primary colors that Miro so strongly expressed in his bold paintings. The works of those talented artists and the carefully built experience, with its strong story, graphics and colors created by Zaman’s design team, fused seamlessly to create a very positive energy.

The responsive website quickly connected visitors to ticket booking and plenty of information about the event, the artists and the organizers.

The exhibition was inaugurated at a glamorous gala event. Speeches by curator Sergio Gaddi and a flamenco dance group entertained the many guests.

For the gala opening the guests received a printed invitation that brought the exhibition to life. Zaman worked with the curator to design the exhibition environment that wove the story of the artist’s association over 4 decades and present their art in a fascinating, informative and immersive way.
