Mushaf Qatar

A UNIQUE MOMENT IN ISLAMIC HISTORY

Under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Mushaf Qatar was launched at Doha’s Museum of Islamic Art in March 2010. Attended by prominent Islamic figures, senior government officials, calligraphers and artists from around the world, the event presented this unique work in a vibrant expression of Islam’s remarkable artistic identity

Zaman designed a multi channel campaign – TVC, print, outdoor media – to announce the launch of the Mushaf Qatar by both showcasing this achievement and encouraging residents to view the incredible workmanship and beauty of the Mushaf Qatar and attend the parallel exhibition at the Al Fanar Centre.

For the event we designed a brochure pack made of illustrative cards in a leather folder each with the biography and artworks of the artists displaying their work in the Aqlam exhibition. We also created VIP gifts reflective of the traditions of Qatari culture and artistry of Islam.
