 | Mejreno Marine is a Dubai based boat builder. They have launched a product that is the culmination of years of experience in specifying, modifying and using boats.
But how to sell a boat not yet built from a company new to the industry? By telling the story of the boat’s mission and the founders vision. A Big Brand StoryZaman created and communicated the Mejreno Marine story by developing an aura around its founder the larger than life Sheikh Sultan bin Mejren. His persona, many personal adventures and passion for marine life and discoveries become the core of the boat’s narrative.
The brand is delivered through large and powerful images that evoke the richness and excitement of a life spent discovering the natural world. By mixing the rendered images and specification of the boat within the same material the connection is clear. Get the boat, enjoy the life.

Evocative IdentityThe identity uses blue and turquoise hues from the tropical seas that the Mejreno team explore and bold, contemporary fonts that reflect the team and boat’s cutting edge capability. Zaman redeveloped the logomark and type to integrate with this identity.
Integrated CommunicationKey to reaching the international audience needed to successfully launch the boat a full website was created. It contained an interactive ‘map’ homepage and a dramatic and beautiful 3.5 minute (ideal for YouTube) showreel edited from the Mejreno team’s expeditions. Simple to navigate and access the information users need, the site is full of the Mejreno story. www.mejrenomarine.com Zaman also created material for the team’s exhibition stand currently traveling around the world’s boat shows. To support this presence Zaman created product leaflets and press packs for distribution at each event.
The stationery suite fits right in using the colours and even imagery to help tell the story. As with all other print materials the stationery utilizes recycled stock. A Bright FutureThe outcome has been a brand that is exciting, fascinating, bright and an impactful addition amongst competitors that invariably follow a weary industry formula.
